You can export technical drawings in the NX Drafting to high-resolution image formats such as PNG, JPG, TIFF, or BMP formats. But you might have resolution problems if you try to export an image file by using File => Export => Image command
To create high-resolution technical drawing image files from NX drafting files:
- Start the “Plot” command.
- File => Plot
- Ctrl + P
- The command dialog box will open.
- Select an image format that will be created by using the “Printer” options.
(TIFF, JPEG, EMF, CGM, PNG) - Change the file location where the image file will be created.
- Click on the folder icon near the “PNG image file” as shown in the figure.
- Select a file location.
- Click the “OK” button.
- If you want you can change width and colors by changing the settings under the “Color and Width” tab.
- Click on the “OK” button to create an image file.
