Changing Radial Dimension to Diametral in NX

You can change the radial dimension measurement method to radial to diametral or diametral to radial in the NX Drafting. The dimension value will be automatically changed to the true value of diameter or radius.

To change the measurement method of the created radial dimension:

1. Click twice on the radial dimension.
2. The “Radial Dimension” dialog box and Quick edit box will open.
3. Change the “Method”  in the “Measurement” tab as “Diametral” or “Radial”.
   (Also you can change the measurement method by using the “Quick Edit” box marked in the figure.)
4. The dimension type and value will be changed in the NX graphics window automatically.
5. Click “Close” or the middle mouse button.

Note: You can select the radial or diametral dimensioning at the start of the dimensioning by changing the “Measurement Method” in the “Rapid Dimension” dialog box.
