The parts in the assembly might be constrained in the reverse direction. This problem occurs because of the direction of the part before constraining in the assembly.
You can change the direction of the constraint when creating constraint or after the constraint created.
To change direction when creating a constraint:
- Start “Assembly Constraints” command
- Select the first object to constrain.
- Select the second object to constrain.
- Click the box near the “Reverse Last Constraint” in the “Geometry to Constrain” tab. (shown in the figure)
To change direction after the constraint created.
- Select the constrained from the assembly navigator or graphics window.
- Right-click on the constraint.
- Click on the “Reverse” from the opening dialog list.
