Find Component in Assembly Navigator

In the big assembly models, it might be hard to find components in the “Assembly Navigator”.  You can find the placements of the parts, components, sub-assemblies in the “Assembly Navigator” which selected in the NX graphics window.

To find a component in the Assembly Navigator:

1. Right-click on the “Assembly Navigator”.
2. Commands pop-up list will open.
3. Select the “Find Component” command.
4. The “Find Component” dialog box will open.
5. Select, a component in the graphics window.
6. The component in the assembly navigator will be opened and highlighted.
7. If you use a component more than once in assembly, you can see the other placements of the component by clicking the “Previous” or “Next” button in the dialog box.
8. Click “Ok” to finish the command.

Note: If you close the command without pressing “Ok”, The “Assembly Navigator” resets itself and the selected component will be hidden in the navigator.
