GD&T Symbol Problem in NX Drafting

You might have a problem while inserting GDT symbols to the Notes, Dimensions, or Feature Control Frames in the NX Drafting. Also, some of the GDT symbols might be deactive and not selectable in the symbol list.

To solve this problem:

1. Start the  Notes, Dimensions, or Feature Control Frame command.
2. In the command dialog box; click on the “Symbols” tab, to open symbols.
3. If you can not see the GD&T symbols, change the “Category” selection in the “Symbols” tab.
4. Change the category selection to “GD&T” as shown in the figure.
5. You will see the  “GD&T” symbols, but some of the  “GD&T” symbols might be unselectable. This problem occurs because of the “Standard” selection of the  “GD&T”
   To Solve this problem: Change the  “GD&T” standard to ASME Y14.5 2009 as shown in the figure.
