Point

You can create points in the Solidworks sketch by using point commands. The command location on the sketch Command Manager is shown in the figure.

Note: Points are mostly used as reference objects in the CAD programs.

1. Click on the “Point” icon to activate the command.
2. Click on the graphics window to place points on the sketch

to Relocate Point:

1. Click on a point to select it
2. The command property manager will open on the left.
3. Change the x, y coordinates to relocate. These coordinates are not parametric. You can change the point location by dragging.
4. Click on the fix icon on the command property manager to fix the location of the point.
