Starting SolidWorks

When you start the Solidworks, The Welcome dialog box opens automatically.

On the Home tab in the Welcome dialog box, you can create a new part, open a recent part, open the recent folders consists the recent SolidWorks part.

On the Recent tab, You can find the recent SolidWorks files created. If you can not find the document, you can use the search function in this tab. Also, you can use “Quick Filter” icons to see the recent files as their document type as part, assembly, drawing. If you can not find the part in the recent files, click on the “Browse” icon in the Recent tab to find it by using file explorer.
