New part default folder settings for NX is “C:\Program Files\Siemens\NX 11.0\UGII\” (it might be different for some computers)
For changing the default folder of the new part
1- Click the right mouse button on the NX icon. Then click properties. The new part folder is in the “Start in” bar.
2- For changing this new part start folder; copy your folder address which you want to use for part saving files.
3- Paste folder address to “start in” box in properties of the NX icon. Then click ok or apply button.
4- Also you can change the new part folder from the new part box when click for a new part. (The picture below). But you should be careful because sometimes it might reset itself to the default folder setting.
