Rebending Sheet Metal in NX

You can rebend the unbended features of the sheet metal in NX modeling.  This is mostly used to rebend again the unbended part after modifications on the flattened regions.

The “Rebend” command is used for this operation.

• Home Ribbon Bar => Bend Group => Rebend
• Menu => Insert => Bend => Rebend

To Rebend sheet metal as shown in the figure.

1. Start the “Rebend” command.
2. The “Rebend” command dialog box will open
3. Look at the command dialog box.
4. The “Select Face” in the “Bend” group will be highlighted automatically.
5. Select the unbended faces to rebend.
6. If the wrong side of the sheet metal stays fixed.
   1. Click on the “Select Face or Edge” bar in the “Stationary Face or Edge” group.
   2. Select a face to make it stationary face
   3. The bended side will be changed in the graphics window.
7. Click the “Ok” finish command.
