Studio Spline in Siemens NX Modeling

You can create splines by using existing points, or by creating new reference points in NX.

There are two different studio spline-creating methods in Siemens NX.

• Through Points: The spline is created on the points.
• By Poles: the spline shape is controlled by points but the spline curve does not pass on the points. 

To create Studio spline:

1. Start the “Studio Spline” command.
2. Set the creation method.
   1. Through Points
   2. By Poles
3. Specify points in the graphics window.
4. If you want to create a closed spline, Turn on the “Closed” checkbox in the “Parametrization” checkbox.
5. Click on the “OK” button to create a studio spline.
