Turning off Solidworks Warning Sound

You can hear the warning sounds when working on the Solidworks. If you want you can disable/mute these warning sounds.

These warnings mostly occur because of performance problems caused by graphic card capacity or low system memory.

There are two methods to disable / mute SolidWorks warning sounds.

Method 1: By using Windows OS settings

1. When you hear the warning sound, look at the notifications icon on the Windows taskbar. There will be a red alert symbol on it. (Shown in the figure)
   
2. Click on the Windows taskbar “notifications” icon 
3. Manage notifications menu will open.
4. Right click on the SOLIDWORKS Resource Monitor” warning. (Available system memory is critically low. Close some applications immediately to free resources. Click Here for online solutions.)
   
5. Click on the “Turn off all notifications for SOLIDWORKS Resource Monitor”.

Method 2: By using Solidworks settings

1. Start Solidworks
2. Open the “System Options” in the Solidworks
3. Click on the “General” on the left Pane
4. Turn of the checkbox near the “Enable sounds for SOLIDWORKS events”.
   
5. Click “Ok” in the dialog box.

Note: If you have performance warnings when using Solidworks and turn off these warnings, check the CPU, GPU, memory usage, and temperatures. You can harm your computer hardware.
