You can hear the warning sounds when working on the Solidworks. If you want you can disable/mute these warning sounds.
These warnings mostly occur because of performance problems caused by graphic card capacity or low system memory.

There are two methods to disable / mute SolidWorks warning sounds.
Method 1: By using Windows OS settings
- When you hear the warning sound, look at the notifications icon on the Windows taskbar. There will be a red alert symbol on it. (Shown in the figure)
- Click on the Windows taskbar “notifications” icon
- Manage notifications menu will open.
- Right click on the SOLIDWORKS Resource Monitor” warning. (Available system memory is critically low. Close some applications immediately to free resources. Click Here for online solutions.)
- Click on the “Turn off all notifications for SOLIDWORKS Resource Monitor”.
Method 2: By using Solidworks settings
- Start Solidworks
- Open the “System Options” in the Solidworks
- Click on the “General” on the left Pane
- Turn of the checkbox near the “Enable sounds for SOLIDWORKS events”.
- Click “Ok” in the dialog box.
Note: If you have performance warnings when using Solidworks and turn off these warnings, check the CPU, GPU, memory usage, and temperatures. You can harm your computer hardware.
