The Rectangle command creates a rectangle in the sketch. Five different rectangle types can be created by using the rectangle command
To create a rectangle click on the “Rectangle icon on the Sketch Command Manager.
To select the type of rectangle:
- Click the drop-down arrow near the “Rectangle” command
- Start the “Rectangle command. Select the type on the “Rectangle Type” tab in the “Command Property Manager”.


Types of rectangles:
- Corner Rectangle
- Center Rectangle
- 3 Point Corner Rectangle
- 3 Point Center Rectangle
- Parallelogram
Note: You can add construction lines to rectangles. Turn on the checkbox near the “Add construction lines” to activate rectangle construction lines

- From Corners
- From Midpoints
