Rectangle

In NX sketching, you can create rectangles by using three different methods in the “Rectangle” command. You can start the rectangle command by clicking on the rectangle command in the “Home Ribbon Bar” as shown in the figure or by using the shortcut “Z”.

The “Rectangle” command dialog box opens after the “Rectangle” command started. You can change the creation method by clicking icons in the “Rectangle Method” box in the command dialog box.

Rectangle creation methods:

1. By 2 Points: You can draw a rectangle by specifying two opposite corner points of the rectangle.
2. By 3 Points: You can draw a rectangle by specifying three corner points of the rectangle. You can draw angled rectangles to the coordinate system.
3. From Center: You can create rectangles by specifying the rectangle center.
