By the default settings in the NX; smooth edges like radius edges and tangent edges are visible.
You can change this setting before creating a view or after a view created. If you change this setting before creating a view, this setting will change for the next view creations.
To hide smooth edges permanently
- Start the “Base View” or “View Creation Wizard”.
- Click on the “Settings” in the command dialog
- Base View: In the Settings tab
- View creation Wizard: Settings icon in the “Options” tab
- Deactivate “Show Smooth Edges” in the Setting dialog box. The path of the command: Common => Smooth Edges => Show Smooth Edges
To hide smooth edges for the created views :
- Select view to hide smooth edges.
- Open settings for view.
- Double click on the view border
- Select, view then click on settings from the opened list. (Also you can open setting by right-clicking on the view.)
- Click on the “Edit Settings” in the “Home Ribbon Bar”, then select the view to open settings for the view.
- Setting dialog box will open for the view.
- Deactivate “Show Smooth Edges” in the Setting dialog box. The path of the command: Common => Smooth Edges => Show Smooth Edges
Note: Also you can change color, line type and line width in this tab in the setting dialog box
Note 2: If yoı want to hide some of the smooth edges, select edges to hide then click hide command or press “Ctrl+B”
