“Quick Extend” command extends curves to the nearest curve or selected boundary curve.
There are three ways to start the “Quick Extend” command.
- Click the “Quick Extend” command on Home Ribbon Bar.
- Press the “E” key on the keyboard. (Shortcut: E)
- Select “Quick Extend” command from “Menu=>Edit=>Curve=>Quick Extend”
By the default “Select Curve” (in “Curve to Extend”) in dialogue box will be active when you start the “Quick Extend” command. You can select curves to extend by clicking. The curve will extend the nearest curve on the selected side. If you want to extend the line to a specified curve, make active “Select Curve” in the “Boundary curve” and select Curve that line will extend.
