Creating Solid Wall on Sheet Surface in NX

You can create solid walls on a sheet surface in NX. The sheet surface thickens on a specified side or each side through a given thickness.

To create a wall on the surface

1. Start the “Thicken” command.
   (Home Ribbon Bar => Feature Group => More => Thicken)
2. Select faces to thicken.
3. Specify the offset values for each side of the wall
4. Click “Ok” to finish command.

Tip: The created wall can join or subtract from the existed solid bodies in the model. Specify the boolean type from the dialog box for this operation.
