The “Scale Curve” command scales the selected curves in the NX Sketch. There are two methods in the command to scale curves.
- Dynamic Method: Scales the curves by using scale ratio
- Dimension Method: Scales the curves by specifying a new value to existed dimension.
To scale curves in the sketch:
- Start the “Scale Curve” command.
- Select curves to resize. (“Select Curve” in the “Curve” tab highlighted.)
- Set the scaling method.
- Dynamic: Type the scaling ratio in the “Scale Factor” box.
- Dimension: Select the existed dimension and specify the new dimension value to scale.
- Click on the “ Specify Scale Point” under the “Scale” tab to highlight.
Specify the scaling center on the graphics window. - Inspect the preview of the scaled curves in the graphics window.
- Click the “Ok” Botton to finish the command.
Note: It is a good solution to use the “Dimension Method” scaling if you are trying to draw the imported picture consisting of dimensions behind the sketch.
