Changing face color on the model

You can change face color on the solid body by using the “Edit Object Display” command. But if you don’t change the selection rule, you can only select a solid-body.  Set “Selection Rule” as “Face” in the “Top Border Bar” shown as in the figure. 

To change face color:

1. Activate “Edit Object Display” command in “View Ribbon Bar”
2. Set “Selection Rule” as “Face”
3. Select Faces
4. Click on “Ok” in the command window or click the middle mouse button.
5. “Edit Object Display” command will be opened.
6. Click on the color box to open “Color” palette window
   1. Select color
   2. Click on “Ok” in the “Color” palette window or click the middle mouse button
7. “Edit Object Display” command will be opened again.
8. Click on “Ok” in the command window or click the middle mouse button to finish command and assign color on the body.
