Changing Resource Bar side in NX

You can change the side of the “Resource bar” on the left or right side of the NX screen. 

The Resource Bar includes:

1. Assembly Navigator
2. Constraint Navigator
3. Part Navigator
4. Reuse Library
5. HD3D Tools
6. Web Browser
7. History
8. Roles

There are several different methods to change the side of the Resource Bar in NX

Method 1:

1. Open the “User Interface Preferences”
2. Select the “Resource Bar” on the left tab.
3. Change the Display as “On Left” or “On Right” as shown in the figure

Method 2:

1. Click on the “Settings” icon (an icon like a gear) on the left-top of the resource bar.
2. Look at the location tab in the opening dialog box.
3. Change the “Location” as “Display on Left” or “Display on Right”. (Shown in the figure.)

Method 3:

1. Open The “Customer Defaults” (File => Utilities => Customer Defaults)
2. Select the “User Interface” tab in the Gateway tab on the left
3. Click on the “Resource Bar” tab.
4. Change the selection in the “Display Resource Bar” as shown in the figure.
