Finding 3D model File Path in NX

In some conditions, you might need to find a 3D model file path in NX. For example, sometimes I open the files by using the history panel on the left pane of the NX, and then the Default folder might change and I might need to find the working folder for the NX files. 

To find the file path of the working 3D model:

1. Click on the Assembly Navigator on the Resource bar.
   • Note: You can not find the file path of the component in the assembly. Open part in a new working window. 
2. Right click on the part in the Assembly Navigator.
3. Click on the “Properties” in the opening list
4. the “Displayed Part Properties” tab will open.
5. Click on the “Displayed Part” tab
6. File path will  be displayed on the “Full Path” line as shown in the figure.
