Moving Section Line in NX Drafting

You can move the section line to after the section created on a model view in NX Drafting. 

To move section line:

1. Click twice on the section line.
2. move the mouse cursor to the handle in the middle of the section line.
3. Drag to handle to the new point.
   (The snapping functions will be activated when you drag the section line handle. You can move the section line to a specified point as Arc Center, midpoint, etc…)
4. Release the middle mouse button.
5. Close the “Section View” dialog box.

Note: If the snap option you need is off on the snap options. You can not change the snap options when dragging. If you want to change the snapping options to move the section line.

1. Click on the “Section Line Handle” (The handle in the middle of the section line.)
2. The “Snap Options” will be activated.
3. Change the snapping options you need.
4. Drag the section line handle to the new position point.

Note 2: You can change the section line arrows distance to part by using the same method.

1. Click twice on the section line.
2. Drag the “Section Line Handle” on the arrows.
3. Close the “Section View” dialog box.
