Repositioning Dimension Attachment Point in NX

You can change the existed dimension extension line attached point in NX Drafting. The dimension value will be changed according to the new assigned point on the drawing.

To change the assigned dimensioning point:

1. Click twice on the created dimension.
2. The linear Dimension dialog box will open.
3. Click on the dimension extension line identifier (yellow-square) that specifies the dimensioning object. 
4. The identifier color will be blue after selection.
   
5. Click on the new dimensioning object.
6. The dimension extension line will be moved to the selected object and the dimension value will be changed.
   
7. To finish editing; press “Esc” or click twice the middle mouse button.
