Setting Sketch Origin in NX

By the default NX settings, the Sketch origin method is set as “Specify Point”. That’s because sketch origin assigns on the nearest corner on the selected model face. (Nearest corner on the mouse cursor selection)

You can change this setting by using “Customer Default”. Change “Origin Method” as the “Use Work Part Origin”,

• Set “Origin Method” as “Use Work Part Origin”
  Customer Defaults => Sketch => General => Session Settings => Origin Method => Use Work Part Origin

Also, you can change this setting from the “Create Sketch” pop up window. Set Origin Method” as the “Use Work Part Origin”. Bu this is not a complete solution. You should make this arrangement at every command activation.
