Creates points on the model without creating a sketch. You can create points anywhere in the model.
To activate command:
- Curve Ribbon Bar => Curve Group => Datum/Point Drop Down Arrow => Point
- Menu => Insert => Datum/Point => Point
For Using “Point” command:
- Activate the “Point” command.
- Select a point location.
- If you have selection problems change options in the “Type” tab.
- Click the middle mouse button or “Ok” to finish.
