You can measure the x, y, z coordinate distances between objects in NX. Also, you can show the start point and endpoint coordinates on the graphics window.

To make this you should change the settings in the measure command dialog.
- Start the “Measure” command
- Click on the “Preferences” icon in the dialog box.
(If you can not see the preferences in the command dialog box. Click on the “Down-Arrow” at bottom of the command dialog box to open more tabs.) - Measurement Preferences dialog will open.
- If it is not selected click on the “General” bar on the left of the dialog box.
- To see coordinate distances: Turn on the checkbox near the “Display X, Y, Z Delta Values.
- To see the start and end measuring points: Turn on the checkbox near the “Display Coordinates of Reference Points.
- Click “Ok” to apply settings.
- The x, y, z coordinates will appear on the graphics window when measuring distances.
