Component Transparency in NX Assembly

You can change component transparency in NX Assembly modeling

To change component transparency:

  1. Click the left or right mouse button on the component.
  2. Click on the “Edit Display” command in the opening pop-up commands.
  3. The “Edit Object Display” command dialog box will open.
  4. Change the “Translucency” setting value in the “Shaded Display” tab by moving the button.
    1. Translucency = 0 (No transparency)
    2. Translucency = 100 (Fully transparent)
  5. Click “Ok” to apply and close the command dialog box.

Note: The corners of the component go on visible even if Transparency is 100%. This problem occurs when the rendering style set as “Shaded with edges”. You can solve this problem by changing the rendering style to “Shaded”. But this time all the corners in the graphic window will be hidden.

Note: If you do not want to see any parts of the component, you can use the hide command.
