Specify Direction of Ordinate Dimensions in NX

You can specify ordinate dimension baseline directions as vertical, horizontal, or both horizontal and vertical.

To specify ordinate dimension directions:

• Start the “Ordinate” command
• The command dialog will open
• To change dimension baseline directions, open the “Baseline” tab in the “Ordinate” command dialog box.
  1. To create horizontal dimensions: Turn on the “Activate Baseline”, Turn off the “Activate Perpendicular”
  2. To create vertical dimensions: Turn off the “Activate Baseline”, Turn on the “Activate Perpendicular”
  3. To create both horizontal and vertical dimensions: Turn on both of the “Activate Baseline” and “Activate Perpendicular”
